About
Kristen has been with A&M since 2016, cultivating its botany program and providing regulatory compliance support on various levels. Kristen is a Certified Consulting Botanist (#0049) and wildlife biologist specializing in ecological restoration and aquatic resource management throughout California. Based in the Central Coast region, she brings scientific expertise and a naturalist's perspective to projects of all scales throughout the state. Her extensive field and project management experience allows her to navigate complex environmental challenges by seeking sustainable solutions. Kristen excels in environmental permitting and reporting, and ensures projects meet regulatory requirements while honoring ecological integrity.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management and Protection, and minor in Biology from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, she continues to expand her knowledge through fieldwork, analysis, and working with teams. A naturalist at heart, Kristen's professional approach is rooted in her genuine passion for California's diverse ecosystems and their preservation for future generations.
